badly made books was set up in 2015 by Seán O Sullivan with the intention of bringing interesting visual art based books to the Irish market. Having developed his own method of binding books, Seán created a range of notebooks in order to test the quality of the binding method, knowing a good book demands a durable form. badly made books, recycled paper notebooks are becoming the first choice for young Irish creatives.
All books produced by the workshop are made with recycled and post consumer waste paper as well as printed using a heat-free risograph duplicator.

The 'Ireland in Bloom' map has been digitally printed on 100% Silk and comes beautifully packaged in a drawer style box. Perfect to give as a gift and light enough to send in the post.
These pocket squares are printed in Italy, in the famous Lake Como district, using silk twill which is then woven and digitally printed for a beautiful finished product. They were limited edition and are no longer available.

Each vessel was thrown by hand, illustrated on, glazed and fired twice. Every single one of the vessels is completely unique in form, size and thickness with coloured glazes and organic freehand illustrations.
