This limited edition print celebrates 'The Baltimore Beacon' as it stands majestically against the blue sky on a summer's day. Baltimore is a little coastal village which lies near the very southern tip of Ireland. Combining my skills as a graphic designer and illustrator, this is a clean and graphic image with my trademark floral detail.

A bit about the subject matter:-

'The Baltimore Beacon is part of a series of lighthouses and beacons dotted around the Irish coast. The navigational Beacon at the entrance to Baltimore Harbour is the image most often associated with the village. Positioned high above the channel between the mainland and Sherkin Island, it is visible from near and far and visitors are rewarded with spectacular views towards Sherkin, Cape Clear, the harbour and the mouth of the Ilen River.'

Giclee is a high quality inkjet print created with professional grade machines and fine materials. Printed with pigment inks on archival paper, it is pronounced "zhee-clay" and is a noun deriving from the French verb gicler, which means "to spray". A giclee is the apex of digital printmaking. The inks used are archival and depending on light conditions can last for up to 100 years.
